Why Infrared?Thermography is the use of an infrared imaging and measurement camera to "see" and "measure" thermal energy emitted from an object. Thermal, or infrared energy, is light that is not visible because its wavelength is too long to be detected by the human eye; it's the part of the electromagnetic spectrum that we perceive as heat. Unlike visible light, in the infrared world, everything with a temperature above absolute zero emits heat. Even very cold objects, like ice cubes, emit infrared. The higher the object's temperature, the greater the IR radiation emitted. Infrared allows us to see what our eyes cannot. Infrared thermograpic cameras produce images of invisible infrared or "heat" radiation and provide precise non-contact temperature measurement capabilities. Nearly everything gets hot before it fails, making infrared cameras extremely cost-effective, valuable diagnostic tools in many diverse applications. <<<<READ MORE>>>> Member of: |
Welcome to Certified InfraredInfrared Thermography is the most important and cost effective element of any electrical maintenance program. Research shows an average of 400% return on investment for every dollar spent on infrared inspections. A skilled thermographer who has thorough knowledge of electrical construction can detect electrical failures long before any other testing method reducing down time, saving equipment costs and increasing personnel safety. Certified Infrared focuses on electrical, mechanical and roofing inspections using the latest state of the art Flir equipment. Our cutting edge technology provides the highest quality detailed imagery. We provide thorough and comprehensive reports pinpointing the exact cause of problems that threaten the integrity of your electrical, mechanical and roofing systems. Certified Infrared uses thermographers that are highly trained and experienced in infrared scanning. In addition, all of our thermographers were fully licensed electricians before they joined our company. Therefore, they are uniquely qualified to analyze the anomaly and determine the true root cause of the problem. With more than 25 years of electrical and infrared experience, we have the expertise to <<<<READ MORE>>>> A Few of Our Clients: |
